Therefore it becomes necessary to implement the measures to remove the vastu defects.&nbsp;Of course it is not possible to change the vastu at macro level by demolishing the home or changing the exterior. You can bring changes by transforming the interior and by following certain remedial measures to eliminate the vastu defects:<strong>Performing poojas:<\/strong><em>Below is some of the poojas which you can execute to eliminate the defects:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Before formally entering your home, you need to perform Ganesh pooja, Navagrah shanti and vastu purush pooja.<\/li>\n<li>To get rid of the vastu doshas(defects) , you need to do Navachandi Yagya, Shantipath and Agnihotra Yagya.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap a Vastu Purush idol, a naag (snake) made of silver, copper wire, a pearl and powla in a red cloth with the red soil and place it in the eastern direction of your house.<\/li>\n<li>Performing Rudri every Monday and every new moon day may be useful in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere at home.<\/li>\n<li>It is very important to perform Navgraha Shanti pooja first and then you can perform a house warming ceremony.<\/li>\n<li>To nullify the effects of the sins which we do knowingly, unknowingly in our life, we should do the Graha Shanti pooja every year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Worship and chanting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To maintain the harmony of the house, worship the vastu purush daily.<\/li>\n<li>The most effective vastu remedy is to chant \u201cOm Namo Bhagvati Vastu Devtay Namah.\u201d Recite this mantra every Tuesday 108 times.<\/li>\n<li>Worship you doorstep to maintain peace at your home.<\/li>\n<li>Rakhshoghna Sukta mantra has to be recited on regular basis to purify the ambiance of the home.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other essential remedies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0It is very essential to have lord Ganesh idol at home. Place a photo or an idol of lord Ganesh at the entrance of the home for peace and prosperity.<\/li>\n<li>If possible have a separate pooja room in your house.<\/li>\n<li>The main thing which you need to follow is to keep your home clean, bright and free from clutter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Almost all the Vastu defects have remedies, it is necessary to follow the measures methodically.
