The International Convention Centre (ICC) is one of preeminent commercial complex that have come up on Senapati Bapat road(S. B. road), also seen as a landmark of Pune in recent years. The basic concept of the Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) is to provide residents of the city with comprehensive entertainment facilities. It is intended that the FEC will cater to the needs of the entire city, and is not exclusively targeted at the residents of Senapati Bapat Road or neighboring area.
Built to international standards, and adapted to Indian tastes and conditions, FEC takes into account the creation of a destination where each element complements the other. Adjoining the centre, an ultra modern five-star hotel, with 200-odd rooms is planned, and attached to it there will be service apartments, a fitness centre, swimming pool, essential shopping area, and three restaurants, an exclusive bar lounge, multi-function halls, conference halls etc. ICC is entrusting the construction and management of the FEC to professional mall managers, who will be responsible for its upkeep, cleanliness, hygiene and security, and also manage the retail space within the mall.
