Property registration is one of the most important aspects to be considered while purchasing a flat, plot or land. Registering a property legally confers the right to ownership over that particular property. It acts as an instrument of legal protection. The property registration process differs from State to State. The procedures involved in property registration are more or less similar for the same jurisdiction.
The Revenue Department of Delhi has almost 27 sub divisions and 9 districts. The district include North, Central, New Delhi, East, West, South, North-East, North-West and South-West. In Delhi there are 13 registrar offices which register documents and provide other relevant services.
