Pune is one of the fastest growing cities to develop in recent years. Though earlier only few a parts of internal city had been developed such as Deccan, Shivaji Nagar, Pune Camp and Bund garden, Koregoan Park. Off recently areas connecting to these places within the distance of 10 to 15 kms has seen lot of new projects both residential and commercial thereby expanding the city limits to a wider area giving new prospects to builders, buyers and investors. Pune’s growing demand of residential and commercial complex has accelerated due to increase in population in the city.
Hadapsar which is towards the East of Pune used to be known for its Industries is now the new address for the most number of townships coming up in Pune. With few IT co’s coming up, there was a need to create residential areas. One of the first townships that took shape was Magarpatta along with other residential projects.
Aundh is a suburb in the North-West of Pune is now known for its posh localities populated by software engineers having lot of residential and commercial projects. Aundh , Baner, Pashan and Sus road has many residential projects and townships coming up with state of art amenities coming up. The demand for these locations has increased due to its closeness to Hinjewadi IT Park.
Viman Nagar is one of the known places to reside in recent years having Pune International Airport with distance only half a kilometer and main Pune Railway Station just 6 kms away. Viman Nagar has also seen many new IT, BPO and educational institutes coming up.
Among the other places which have developed a lot in recent years are Kothrud, Bibewadi, wanowrie, Wakad, Balewadi, Kondhwa.
